Why is the Stryker Series from Delta still the best value-for-money Rifle Scope on the market?
Available in both FFP and SFP the Delta Stryker has long been a fan favourite since its arrival over 4 years ago; so why is its reign continuing

Our good friend, David Heywood, has recently compared the WULF 4K and Pulsar C50 Night Vision Rifle Scope.
[WORDS: David Heywood]
...
Just my brief initial input after obtaining a Pulsar C50 recently and being able to do a direct side-by-side comparison with a WULF 4K.
The C50 day mode colour display seems more lifelike and the detail is just as good as the 4K (when at its basic 3.5x), and it also has a lovely wide FOV compared to the WULF. However, it all changes when you start to Digi-mag up for Zeroing (in daylight @ 100yds in my case). As the C50 suffers a lot of noise and the target visibly shivers with the black edges to the target becoming very indistinct at 14x. The WULF is excellent in comparison even past the equivalent 14x of the C50. Although the C50 does benefit from PIP the WULF

With plans to phase out the use of lead ammunition to protect wildlife and nature, one particular company has looked ahead and begun manufacturing an alternative, environmentally-friendly option; copper bullets.
"Research by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust shows that between 50,000 to 100,000 wildfowl die in the UK each year due ingesting lead from used pellets. Despite being highly toxic, wildfowl often mistake the pellets for food. A further 200,000 to 400,000 birds suffer welfare or health impacts, and animals that predate on wildfowl can also suffer. Lead ammunition can also find its way into the wider environment and the food chain, posing a risk to people if they eat contaminated game birds. Studies have also found that lead poisoning caused lowered immune systems in wild birds, potentially

We've shared our thoughts on which Scope to go for out of the IOR Terminator and the Delta Stryker when shooting 25-100yds Benchrest.
[WORDS: Shaun Ellis, OPW Director]

RETICLES
The IOR's MOA SHX-1 reticle, in comparison to both the DLS-2 and DLS-3 reticles of the Delta Stryker, is heavier (not fine) and is designed for use on weighty backgrounds, rather than paper.
There is however no reason why it would not work but with the SHX-1 reticle, there is more going on when compared to the two reticles on the Delta.
One great benefit of the IOR's reticle, albeit not necessarily required for Benchrest, is the fact that it subtends correctly at 1/2 MRAD, MOA and 1/2 MOA when at different

Are you looking to purchase a Thermal Monocular or Rifle Scope yet have little understanding of what it all means?
Well, we've debunked the Thermal jargon making it easier for you to make a decision on what Thermal Optic best suits your needs.

Since Thermal imaging has become more and more popular over the past decade, so has the requirement for it for the modern Deer Stalker.
When I first began Deer Stalking 7 years ago, the idea of taking a Thermal Imaging Monocular would not even have crossed my mind as I saw it purely for a tool to be used for night time vermin control. Nowadays I won't leave the house for a Stalk without one. I consider it to be as useful as my Binoculars.

User Mode comes to Thermion XM and Axion XM: Firmware update 4.0
(Words: Pulsar)
Firmware 4.0: New observation mode and image quality improvements
Similar to latest update for XP product line we are also updating our XM devices to enhance your Pulsar experience.
User mode – the purpose of different observation modes is to offer most suitable settings depending on the nature conditions. With Firmware 4.0 we bring a fourth option the User mode. This development will be most enjoyed by advanced users who like to have more control on the setup of their device. The new observation mode allows you to select and save your personal preferences based on pre-existing observation modes (Rocks, Forest, Identification), contrast and brightness settings. You can tweak each of the three settings to suit

It all culminated in the last round of the GP series at Blackbrook on the 25th of August. One of the hottest days of shooting I’ve had in a long-time lead to an interesting and testing day. Not only crazy 34C heat but some gusty switching winds also added to the days drama.
Course was a well-balanced course that suited the weather and kept you interested.
After a long and costly series for a lot of shooters, travelling the whole country the results were finally decided.
Well done to the Air

TILTED MOUNTS are necessary when shooting at very long distances. We generally recommend as little tilt as possible as large amounts of tilt really may have a negative impact on the quality of the sight picture. In most cases 6-9 MIL (20-30 MOA) will have no negative impact on picture quality while still providing greater available adjustment range for long-range shooting.
To allow for the greatest available range of adjustment choose a mount with a tilt that is half of the scope’s range of elevation. For example, Schmidt & Bender 5-25×56 have a maximum elevation adjustment of 26 MIL (93 MOA,) you should, therefore, choose a mount with 13 MIL (45 MOA) in tilt. Doing so assures that you are able to adjust the sight out to very long distances.
However, when mounted in this extreme elevation it’s common to experience optical defects such as an oval picture when shooting at close targets, etc. We, therefore, recommend that when fitting a large elevation scope (such
