Sightron SIII 45x45 SFP ED SF TD Non-IR Rifle Scope Review - Kelvin
I have been shooting for many years, but just at the start of 2022, I became involved in indoor 25yards rimfire benchrest shooting. Tried a variety of scopes including Leupold 45x45 Competition, and a Nikko Stirling Diamond 'Big Nikko' 10-50x60. They worked, but still not quite 'right'. I bought a new Sightron Sll 36x42 from Optics Warehouse, and it arrived safely and reasonably quickly in New Zealand.
Now...this was a better scope. My scores went up a notch and I could see those wee target dots OK. But I only bought that scope because it was at a price level where I could get it into NZ without being hammered by the Customs fees. Thought about it for a few weeks and returned to the Optics Warehouse site where

Review by Kinetic Security Solutions:
As competitive shooters, we often hear the question of which optic is best. While there are many components of an optic that contribute to the overall quality and its ability to perform, this review only focuses on optical clarity/resolution. The definition of clarity and resolution for the purpose of this review is the ability to resolve the most amount of detail possible on your intended target. This can mean the difference between knowing you hit the target somewhere, or your ability to identify exactly where your rounds are hitting. Was that dark spot your impact, someone else's, or are you able to see multiple impacts within a single location on a target.
This review focuses on some of the newest and most common optics being used in PRS/NRL. All optics used in this review were loaned or personally owned.

Our good friend, David Heywood, has recently compared the WULF 4K and Pulsar C50 Night Vision Rifle Scope.
[WORDS: David Heywood]
...
Just my brief initial input after obtaining a Pulsar C50 recently and being able to do a direct side-by-side comparison with a WULF 4K.
The C50 day mode colour display seems more lifelike and the detail is just as good as the 4K (when at its basic 3.5x), and it also has a lovely wide FOV compared to the WULF. However, it all changes when you start to Digi-mag up for Zeroing (in daylight @ 100yds in my case). As the C50 suffers a lot of noise and the target visibly shivers with the black edges to the target becoming very indistinct at 14x. The WULF is excellent in comparison even past the equivalent 14x of the C50. Although the C50 does benefit from PIP the WULF
